Known as ‘La Cuisine de Grand-Mère’ (Granny’s Kitchen), the heart and soul of the family home, this is where our great-grandmother prepared hearty meals, slow cooked on the traditional cast-iron stove or over the open fireplace.
Overlooking the garden and its magnificent two-hundred-year-old plane tree, the brick-built tower with fish-scale tiles is one of the estate’s most distinctive features.
