"A late booked holiday that was just perfect. William's gite is very quiet and surrounded by countryside with dark skies, just perfect and what we wanted. However, it is very convenient to get to places along the west coast (La Rochelle, Il de Re and other islands, Cognac, etc.) so a good base from which to explore. We enjoyed our swims in the pool, walks through the grounds and visits from Frisby and Tuppee (the dogs). The accommodation is comfortable and had everything we needed for the couple of nights we cooked. William is very friendly and helpful and is on hand to answer questions (or solve problems - not that we had any). Would recommend for a couple or family of four wanting rest, relaxation and exploration of what is a beautiful part of France."

"The trailer combines the comfort of a hotel room in a natural, very very quiet setting. We had the visit of curious ponies, a red squirrel and a rabbit during the excellent breakfast, only composed of local products, taken on the terrace of the caravan. William was very attentive from the beginning to the end of our stay. We will keep good memories of this unusual place, which we recommend."

The pool is very large and very well maintained, but it is shared by the family that lives on the property and there are fixed "pool times". All the main shops are accessible within 10 minutes. The sea was easily accessible in about 30 minutes. William's parents welcomed us in a very friendly way and were always available for questions."
